Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op is a farm supply, lawn, garden, automotive, and outdoor power equipment store. We strive to provide excellent customer service and provide products that meet the needs of our ever changing area. We have locations in Sevierville, Morristown and Newport, Tennessee and Waynesville, North Carolina and a crops center in White Pine, Tennessee.
History
Smoky Mountain Farmers Cooperative is a locally owned farm supply store with retail locations in Sevierville, TN, Morristown, TN, Newport, TN, and Waynesville, NC, and a Crop Center in White Pine, TN. Smoky Mountain Farmers was established in 2019 through consolidation of the operations of Cocke Farmers Cooperative, which was incorporated in 1947, and Sevier Farmers Cooperative, which was incorporated in 1948. Today, we serve more than 2,250 farmer members.
Local agriculture has changed dramatically since those early days, but the Co-op continues to play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of its farmer members. Recent additions to the business have brought a whole new set of customers. Today, the Co-op still provides quality basic farm inputs, but offerings like lawn and garden supplies, hunting products, clothing, boots, companion animal care, and equine products now appeal to a broad range of rural lifestyle consumers. Though the business is truly farmer-owned, anyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op.
